Many people nowadays have inflammation problems which may lead to indigestion and sleeplessness. Inflammation is hated most because it can also give you acne, skin irritation and unnecessary sweating which may lead to dehydration. Sometimes inflammation brings mood swings. 

The temperature around also affects your routine. Some countries’ weather is humid or sunny which is not crucial if you are not used to it. It is also hard to take antibiotics or nutrition supplements henceforth they  may cause irritation or inflammation. 

Every food comes with advantages and disadvantages so some foods can also be inflammatory if not used right and some foods can also be healing foods because of their contents which will help you regain the essential properties.

Following are the Foods that will help you overcome inflammation (they are not listed highest to lowest or lowest to highest) :

1. Mint

Mint is generally known for its medicinal purpose. Mint can help your body to stabilize according to the temperature while nourchering the feelings of calmness. There are many types of mints but the most commonly used are Peppermint and Spearmint and the only difference between them is the levels of methanol present in them. Mint contains a layer of very short protein molecules which reacts with the cells of the body and give the cooling effect.

Ways to use:

  • You can just chew the mint leaves to get a good overall taste.
  • Try mixing it with milk or with other soluble drinks.
  • Getting a Mint based flavor Chewing would be a great idea.
  • You can also add it to your lunch or dinner dishes instead of coriander.
  • It can be grinded into a sauce
  • Mix it with tomato sauce

2. Cucumber 

Cucumber is rich in nutrition. Some might think of it as a vegetable or some might think of it as Fruit, it’s not confirmed after all. Cucumber comes with various varieties. The growing of cucumber has over 100’s of different types. Cucumber helps to stop inflammation by reacting through different conditions differently. It tastes a little bit different than other fruits and vegetables but seeing its nutrition and hydration content the taste is nothing. They are 95% made up of water. Cucumbers are generally eaten peeled, sliced or chopped.  

Ways to use:

  • Can be eaten raw
  • Can be sliced and mixed with salad
  • Try drinking it in the form of juice
  • Try mixing Smoothie
  • Can also be added with fried vegetables
  • Enhance it via adding Salt, pepper and/or Red chilly pepper.

3. Carrot

Carrots are tasty, sweet Roots which are available in the form of baby carrots, normal carrots or gigantic carrots. Carrots can help you fill your stomach and are healthy for weight loss. Carrots give your body the healing ability over inflammation. It is said that carrots create a layer of coolingness in your stomach which not only helps it to stop inflammation but also eases the digestion. Carrots can be easily digested thanks to its digestive fiber. Your body will immediately respond to the stimuli of its beneficial properties.

Ways to use:

  • Can be eaten raw
  • Can be sliced and added to Salad
  • Can be consumed in the form of smoothie
  • Can be mixed with fruits and/or vegetables
  • Can be added to soups
  • Try adding carrots to gram flavour and make balls which you can deep fry or shallow fry as per your needs.

4. Smoothies 

 So what is smoothie? smoothie is a thick and creamy beverage made from pureed raw fruit, vegetables, and sometimes dairy products, typically using a blender. Smoothies can be made easily and are easy to consume and store.are high in vitamins, minerals, and many other beneficial nutrients. Smoothies can be very tasty and health beneficial if used in the right way. Smoothies act as cooling agents. Smoothies are easily digested due to their great properties which do not force the digestive system. We can add varieties of fruits and vegetables which will be more and more tasty and moreover healthy as well. Inflammation can be easily handled if used with the right modifications and right amount. 

5. Water

Water is the best source of hydration which has its benefits at the next level. Water helps you to lower the level of HCL (Hydrochloric Acid) which is one of the causes of inflammation. Water is tasteless and so can be mixed with fruits and can be given an enhanced taste. Water gives body all the essential minerals which increases immunity that’s why no one recommand 100% Purified water. Mixing Mint leaves in water can be useful as it could improve the lowering chances of inflammation. With some lemon and some salt added it’s a great beverage on the go. Water can also keep you hydrated and fresh throughout the day when taken regularly from time to time.

6. Buttermilk

Buttermilk is made up of curd. It is a fermented dairy product. Curd cures most naustaging abdominal pain and also helps reduce swelling of the stomach. Curd was used in the traditional period when there was no refrigerator for keeping milk or curd, hence this proves that Buttermilk has its own ability to stay cooled. This expression is also used for problems related to inflammation. One can use buttermilk for overcoming inflammation by simply drinking buttermilk before sleeping. It’s as simple as that.

7. Watermelon

Watermelon is a naturally sweet and hydrating fruit. Watermelon is very dense in nutritional content. They are easy to eat and refreshing. Its hydration will keep your body and digestive tract clean. It’s dense nutrition will help you to cool your body thoroughly. The segments will instantly stimulate the proper amount of cooling enzymes your body needs. 

Ways to use:

  • Can be sliced and added to fruit salad
  • Can be consumed as Juice
  • Can be added as a layer on sandwich
  • Try it with salt, pepper and/or red chilly paper
  • Mix in salsa
  • Pickles can also be made from watermelon
  • The best one is to eat it while freezed which is temporarily in fully developed state
  • You can also add it to ice cream
